Event Organizer & Venue:
Organizer
The Hickman Mills Education Foundation (HMEF) will host its 4th annual Golf Tournament to be held on Friday, June 2, 2023. This will be HMEF’s summer fundraising event to benefit the Hickman Mills C-1 School District, and we would hope to include you.
The purpose of the HMEF is to raise, manage and distribute funds for educational programs, to benefit the students and staff of the Hickman Mills C-1 School District. HMEF awards scholarships to graduating seniors each year, but we also provide classroom grants for teachers. Most grants are for technology, math and reading enhancements in the classroom. During the last nineteen years, the grants and scholarships awarded by the HMEF have potentially reached every student in the Hickman Mills C-1 School District. Since the Foundation’s inception in 2001 more than $950,000 in scholarships have been awarded to graduating seniors and classroom enhancement grants given to teachers. Five years ago, we also began a program of partial reimbursement for satisfactory completion of dual credit hours.
